Pollution Control Equipment
We are a leading manufacturer and exporter of a variety of pollution control equipment. Fabricated using finest quality raw material, our range is extensively used in various industries to reduce air pollution from the atmosphere. These are known for their trouble free operation and high efficiency. Moreover, these equipment can also be tailor made as per the specifications of our clients.
 | Multi Cyclone This is a device to separate solids (in powder or granular form) from air/gases. When the material is moving as in pneumatic conveying, the solids are separated. In this device, air is made to flow at cyclonic speed and made to rotate in a cylindrical vessel of suitable design. When the solid material attains high speed, it picks up centrifugal force and choose to cling to outer surface while air retains high speed it gets due to its velocity factor. Suddenly in the center, air outlet is provided for air to go out while due to centrifugal force the solid material is not able to change direction but goes downwards and gets separated. This device is capable of offering separation efficiency up to 90%, of course, depending upon, design, material, bulk density etc. There is one collecting hopper where material gets collected. Smaller the diameter, better is the efficiency. Multi Cyclone
When volume of air flow is large, single cyclone tends to become inefficient. Therefore it is recommended to use multiple number of cyclones thus called multi cyclone. It has a common body container wherein number of small cyclones are included, each handling small volumes, thus offering better efficiency. Thus, number of cyclones operating together offer far better performance for larger volume than single one. Of course dimensions are favorable too and so the cost. |

 | Multi Clone Dust Collector A whirling motion is imparted to the gas entering a cyclonic collector. This action generates centrifugal force that concentrates particles of entrained dust at the interior walls of the collecting tubes. The particles then fall and are discharged from the bottom of the tube. Clean gas exits through the outlet at the collecting tubes vertical centre line. Multiple-cyclone separators are also known as multi clones, consist of a number of small-diameter cyclones, operating in parallel and having a common gas inlet and outlet, as shown in the figure. Multi-clones operate on the same principle as cyclones--creating a main downward vortex and an ascending inner vortex.
Multiclones are more efficient than single cyclones because they are longer and smaller in diameter. The longer length provides longer residence time while the smaller diameter creates greater centrifugal force. These two factors result in better separation of dust particulates. The pressure drop of multi clone collectors is higher than that of single-cyclone separators Darshini Engineers Multi clones are running in following.

 | Bag Filters Recovery of particulate matter from exhaust gas is vital for any industry from two aspects
- To avoid pollution problems
- Recovery of finished product-increasing the plant yield
For recovering particulate matter different options available are - Cyclones, Venturi, scrubbers, bag air filter, pollution control bag filter, electrostatic precipitates etc. Out of these bag filter becomes the best choice if following are dominant selection criterias:
- Material is expensive and hence high collection efficiency is desired.
- Particulate size is very fine.
Material recovery in powder form is desirable & not in solution form.
Working Principle of Bag Filter
- The dust-laden air enters the bag filter.
- The dust /powder separates inside the bag filter chamber.
- The air is uniformly distributed avoiding channelling while the powder is separated.
- Initially a coat of material forms on the bags. Subsequently, the coat acts as the filtering medium.
- The dust is accumulated on filter elements while the air passes through the filter bags from outside to inside.
- The accumulated powder is dislodged from the bags by reverse pulsejet air intermittently.
- The dislodged powder falls on bottom cone and is discharged through powder discharge valves.
- The dust free air is sucked by induced draft fan and is exhausted to atmosphere.

 | Scrubber Gas scrubbers are air pollution control devices that use a high-energy liquid spray to remove aerosol and gaseous pollutants from an air stream. The gases are removed either by absorption or chemical reaction. In addition to fume and gas abatement, scrubbers may be used for process air cleansing and dust collection. Dry scrubbers are available, but they are often more costly than slurry method scrubbers.
scrubbers are commonly used to help control emissions of sulfur into the atmosphere. This is of particular interest to those involved with electric power generation via combustion of coal. The gases that are emitted from the combustion process are passed through tanks containing a lime substance (often a limestone slurry) that can capture and neutralize the sulfur dioxide. scrubbers are differentiated by the manner in which they remove gases and particulates from the air; either wet or dry. Wet scrubbers literally wash dust and particles out of the air. Exhaust air is forced into a spray chamber, where fine water particles cause the dust to drop from the air stream. The dust-laden water is then treated to remove the solid material and is often recirculated. Dry scrubbers are used more commonly with acid gases. The pollutant is collected on or in a solid or liquid material, which is injected into the gas stream. A dry scrubber produces a dry product that must be collected downstream from this control device.
scrubbers are available with pre-filters or final filters to further reduced emissions. Pre-filters are installed upstream of the scrubber intended to catch larger particles. While the scrubber itself would be able to remove these larger particulates as well, their removal allows the scrubber to focus more keenly and effectively on smaller particulates. A final filter is installed downstream of the scrubber, and is intended to catch particles that were not removed during the scrubbing process. |
